Job summary

BR TECHNOLOGIES GmbH, a world-leading coil winding machine manufacturer, seeks an technician for installation, wiring and commissioning of electrical components in special machines. You will work closely with mechanics and software to ensure smooth operation.

You have initial experience in machine construction, strong circuit diagram skills, and enjoy teamwork. Travel, including short international assignments, may be required; German proficiency is essential with good English as a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation and wiring is desirable.
• Ability to read technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Well-developed teamwork and technical understanding.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional international assignments.
• Good knowledge of German; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical components for special machines.
• Assemble control cabinets and systems per diagrams.
• Perform functional tests, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Maintain, repair and optimize electrical systems on existing machines.
• Collaborate with mechanics and software development to ensure optimum functionality.

• Installation and wiring of electrical components and assemblies for special machines
• Assembly of control cabinet and control systems according to circuit diagrams and technical specifications
• Carrying out functional tests, commissioning and fault diagnosis
• Maintenance, repair and optimisation of electrical systems on existing machines
• Close cooperation with other departments such as mechanics and software development to ensure optimum functionality

Your profile

• First professional experience in machine or special machine construction is an advantage
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and/or wiring – experience with control and automation technology is an advantage
• Confident handling of circuit diagrams and technical drawings
• Manual dexterity and a pronounced technical understanding
• Flexibility, ability to work in a team and an independent way of working
• Willingness to travel – also for occasional short international assignments
• Very good knowledge of German – good knowledge of English is an advantage
