Job summary

BR TECHNOLOGIES GmbH, a world‑leading manufacturer of coil winding machines, seeks a motivated mechatronics engineer for field service and commissioning. You will participate in in-house assembly and wiring, and you will troubleshoot drive controllers and the in-house control system.

At customer sites you will train operators, correct issues, and maintain machines. Worldwide field assignments usually last less than three weeks, offering growth and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics engineer educated with electrical engineering and software focus.
• Travel willingness is required.
• German and English language skills required.
• Professional experience not essential but desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire machines; commission in-house with colleagues.
• Troubleshoot machine and configure drive controllers and in-house control system.
• Carry out winding tests according to customer specs.
• Set up and commission machines at customer sites; train operators and service staff.
• Correct errors and perform maintenance on existing machines.

Commissioning our machines in-house

• You assemble and / or wire our machines and then commission them together with your colleagues
• Troubleshooting in the machine and configuration of drive controllers, as well as of the control system developed in-house
• Carrying out winding tests according to customer specifications

Setting up and commissioning the machines at the customer’s site

• Training operators and service personnel at the customer’s premises, including final acceptance of the machine
• You will correct errors and carry out maintenance on existing machines

The field assignments take place worldwide. The duration of each assignment is usually less than 3 weeks.

Your profile

• You have completed education as a mechatronics engineer specialising in electrical engineering and software and are interested in automation or drive technology
• Professional experience is not essential, but desirable
• You have a good command of German and English
• A willingness to travel is a required
