My client is a renewable energy project developer, working across the full lifecycle of onshore wind and solar projects, from site development and permitting through to construction and repowering. The business already operates three wind parks and holds EMAS and Faire Windenergie certification, reflecting a genuine commitment to sustainable, community minded development rather than sustainability as a talking point.

As the pipeline grows across wind, solar and BESS, they are looking for an Electrical Grid Engineer to work across all three technology teams and support the grid connection side of live and upcoming projects.

The opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of engineering and construction. You will work across wind, solar and BESS projects rather than being confined to a single technology, and you will be a regular presence at the Gießen office, coordinating directly with the construction team to keep grid connection work moving in step with the build programme.

Working pattern: based flexibly, with travel to Gießen required 1 to 2 days a week to coordinate with the construction team. Full detail on the working arrangement to be confirmed.
