Job summary

NAXCON GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Development Engineer (m/f/d) to plan, develop, and validate CAE simulations and control architectures for innovative electronics projects.

You will build prototypes, perform cost estimations, collaborate with suppliers, and contribute to functional tests. The role requires strong multiphysics knowledge, HV electronics experience, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or a comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering as well as the design and detailing of components and assemblies
• Experience in the development of high-voltage power electronics (ideally for capacitive or electrostatic loads)
• Knowledge of high-voltage safety, insulation technology, and EMC/EMI
• Ideally, knowledge of or experience with electrostatic systems
• Strong knowledge of multiphysics simulation
• Experience in the field of robotics
• Previous experience in control modeling and development (including in MATLAB/Simulink)
• Hands-on experience in building and operating electronics and prototypes
• Creativity, innovation, and a pioneering spirit
• High degree of personal responsibility and a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a team and a sense of overall responsibility
• Planning and organizational skills, communication skills, and flexibility
• Quick comprehension and analytical problem-solving skills
• Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English
