Zusammenfassung

NAXCON GmbH in Bremen, Germany, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Defence-focused team. The role covers electrical design, wiring diagrams, parts selection, and cross-department coordination to meet requirements and manufacturing specifications.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics, have several years in electrical development, and be proficient in SAP PLM, EMC standards, and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in general electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in the electrical development of devices and systems.
• Strong knowledge in electric drives, power supplies, computer systems, interface electronics, I/O, bus systems, processors.
• Experience with E3 series cable design tool.
• Basic knowledge of military norms and standards (EMC, land/sea vehicles).
• Very good English and German language skills (spoken and written).
• Very good MS Office knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Electrical design of simple electromechanical devices/systems per requirements and specs.
• Gather and develop high-level to unit-specific requirements.
• Develop solution principles to reuse components.
• Assist with effort estimation for development and manufacturing.
• Create concepts meeting requirements.
• Design and configure units per specs and manufacturability.
• Select suitable standard/off-the-shelf parts.
• Coordinate interfaces with PCB Development.
• Prepare high-level wiring diagrams and system cable specs.
• Coordinate with other departments on function, operation, structure of devices.
• Prepare and review development/manufacturing documentation.
• Process data in SAP PLM, including BOMs.
• Plan and execute integration and commissioning for first article.
• Conduct inspections and tests during development.
• Prepare for series production and test readiness.

Tasks:

• Electrical design of simple electromechanical devices/segments/systems in accordance with requirements and manufacturing specifications, using appropriate tools, by:
• Gathering high-level requirements and developing specific requirements for the unit under one's responsibility
• Developing solution principles to implement the requirements, taking into account the reuse of existing components
• Assisting with effort estimation for the unit under your responsibility regarding development and manufacturing
• Creating concepts that meet requirements
• Designing and configuring the unit under your responsibility in accordance with requirements and manufacturing specifications
• Specifying and selecting suitable standard and off-the-shelf parts for the unit under your responsibility
• Binding coordination of interfaces with the Printed Circuit Board Development department
• Preparation of high-level wiring diagrams
• Binding definition of specifications for system cable development
• Coordination with other departments regarding the function, operation, and structure of electronic/optronic devices
• Preparation and technical review of the resulting, standards-compliant documentation (development and manufacturing documentation)
• Conducting product data processing in SAP PLM, including the creation of bills of materials
• Planning, coordinating, and executing integration and commissioning activities for the
  first article
• Conducting requested inspections and tests for the unit under your responsibility during development (engineering tests)
• Carrying out the preparation for series production of the unit under your responsibility, including preparatory work for test readiness and the start of series production
• Preparing process-compliant specifications for the areas of development, procurement, and testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in general electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the electrical development of devices and systems
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electric drives, power supplies, computer systems, interface electronics, input/output devices, bus systems, processors
• Several years of experience in development using the E3 series cable design tool
• Basic knowledge of military norms and standards, primarily EMC and power supplies for land vehicles and ships
• Good knowledge of SAP PLM
• Very good English and Germanlanguage skills (spoken and written)
• Very good working knowledge of MS Office
• Time- and cost-conscious work style
