TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited in Dresden is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to establish and continuously improve our Environmental, Safety & Health management system in a high-regulated semiconductor environment. You will translate legal requirements into practical solutions, work with managers and external authorities, and help build a strong safety culture from day one.

Fluent German and English are required, with a background in ISO 14001/45001 and German/EU

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety/Environmental fields.
• At least 5 years of ESH experience.
• Experience as an ESH Officer and regulatory compliance responsibility.
• Practical ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 experience.
• Strong knowledge of German environmental and safety laws.
• Semiconductor manufacturing or highly regulated production experience desirable.
• Fluent German and English.

EHS Engineer (m/f/d)

At ESMC, we are building one of Europe’s most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities. As an ESH Engineer, you will help establish and continuously improve our Environmental, Safety & Health management system while ensuring compliance with German and European regulations.

In this role, you will do more than interpret legislation - you will translate legal requirements into practical solutions that enable safe day-to-day operations across our manufacturing environment. Working closely with managers, technical teams and external authorities, you will help build a strong safety culture from the very beginning.

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of professional experience in Environmental, Health & Safety.
3. You have already worked as an Environmental, Occupational Safety or other legally appointed ESH Officer and are familiar with taking responsibility for regulatory compliance.
4. Practical experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
5. Strong knowledge of German environmental and occupational health & safety legislation, including regulations such as: BImSchG, ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV.
6. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or another highly regulated production environment is highly desirable.
7. Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to assess operational risks in day-to-day production.
8. Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to explain legal requirements in a practical and understandable way.
9. Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
10. Fluent German and English.
