Global Compensation & Benefits Director

A world‑renowned manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Director to shape and lead its global reward strategy.

As a key member of the global HR leadership team, you will design, govern, and continuously enhance compensation, benefits, mobility, and performance frameworks that are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organisation’s long‑term goals. Operating across multiple countries and markets, this role combines strategic influence with hands‑on delivery to partner closely with senior leaders to attract, retain, and motivate talent globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global compensation and benefits strategy.
• Oversee job architecture, salary structures, and market benchmarking.
• Manage annual reward cycles, incentive design, and executive compensation.
• Drive global benefits and wellbeing programmes.
• Lead mobility and expatriate frameworks.
• Provide expert advice to senior leadership and HR teams.
• Embed data‑driven decision‑making in reward and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits within a complex, international organisation.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
• Proven expertise in global reward frameworks, job evaluation, and executive pay.
• Strong analytical, financial, and influencing skills.
• A global mindset with cultural awareness and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting RemCo or Board committees.
• Knowledge of HRIS or reward systems.
• A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Finance is required; a master’s or professional certification (GRP, CIPD, CCP) is desirable.
