Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Munich, Germany, seeks a junior verification engineer to contribute to verification activities by developing test scenarios, running simulations, and analyzing results under guidance from the team.

You will assist with debugging design issues, maintain test environments, and help improve verification coverage while collaborating with design and methodology teams. English communication is required; security-related tasks may be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline.
  • Hands-on lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
  • Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
