Job summary

ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH in Germany seeks a seasoned Digital Project Manager to lead transformation initiatives across Procurement, Logistics and Digital Operations. You will shape strategy, plan use cases, and drive value realization with strong governance.

The role interfaces with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, requiring English fluency and a robust PM toolkit. German language skills and PM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, or comparable discipline.
• Several years of experience in digital project management, business transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or EPC project execution environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies as well as digital solutions such as SAP, data analytics, workflow automation, or enterprise platforms.
• Business-fluent English; German language skills and PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum) are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation projects from initiation to successful implementation and value realization.
• Translate business requirements into structured project plans, prioritized use cases, and actionable digital roadmaps.
• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, Digital Operations, IT teams, and external implementation partners.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies with governance.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions through change management, stakeholder engagement, and KPI-driven performance monitoring.
