Job summary

ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH in Erlangen seeks an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead transformation efforts across Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Operations. You will translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and coordinate between stakeholders, IT, and external partners.

The ideal candidate has a university degree, several years in digital PM or process improvement, and strong PM methodology knowledge with SAP and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, SCM, or related field.
• Several years of experience in digital project management, business transformation, or process improvement.
• Experience in Procurement, Logistics, SCM, or EPC project environments.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and digital solutions (SAP, data analytics, workflow automation).
• Business English proficiency; German language skills and PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation projects across Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Operations from initiation to value realization.
• Translate business requirements into structured project plans, use cases, and digital roadmaps.
• Act as the main interface between business stakeholders, Digital Operations, IT, and external partners.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies with governance.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions through change management and KPI-driven monitoring.
