Henkel Consumer Brands (HCB) is seeking an IT/OT Security Engineer for our automated warehouse environment. You will protect both IT and OT systems, plan lifecycle activities, and enforce IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, WMS, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver secure digital solutions. You will engage with internal stakeholders and external providers to manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with Henkel's global

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with Industrial IoT and Manufacturing 4.0 in an industrial environment.
• Experience in managing capital investment projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with the ability to influence stakeholders in adopting new digital tools.
• Fluent German and English in writing and speaking.

About this position

As an IT/OT Security Engineer (m/f/d) in Warehouse, you ensure a secure, stable, and future-ready infrastructure combining Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) within our highly automated warehousing environment at Henkel Consumer Brands (HCB). You work at the interface of information technology, automation, and cybersecurity, playing a key role in the digital transformation of our warehousing processes and assets. Together with colleagues from Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Cybersecurity, you develop solutions that sustainably optimize and secure the operation of our systems and assets.

What you'll do

• Ensure reliable operation of all IT/OT systems within the warehousing environment
• Plan and execute system updates, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities
• Implement and monitor applicable cybersecurity requirements (e.g., according to IEC 62443)
• Configure digital tools, troubleshoot issues, or eliminate them when necessary to maintain the functionality of existing digital systems
• Ensure compliance with IT/OT security standards to enable secure communication and successfully deploy innovative OT solutions within the warehouse
• Design and manage projects from concept to completion, develop business cases, and implement investments in digital technologies including the management of external service providers
• Coordinate with the international Digital Transformation Team to ensure that deployed tools align with the global strategy and HCB technology standards
• Support stakeholder management and ensure transparent communication

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Automation,Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering)
• At least 2 years of experience with Industrial IoT and Manufacturing 4.0 in an industrial environment (experience in the consumer goods industry is an advantage)
• Experience in managing capital investment projects
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders in the adoption of new digital tools
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
