Zusammenfassung

NAXCON GmbH is seeking a Developer for Automated Hardware Testing to join our defence-focused team in Germany. You will develop software to control and automate test systems, refine electronic hardware, and derive test strategies from hardware requirements.

Work closely with hardware development, production and quality assurance to design, implement, and maintain automated tests and test software for reliable validation of electronic assemblies.

Qualifikationen

• Very good knowledge of C++ or Python.
• Experience with low-level hardware programming and interfaces.
• Knowledge of test environments and database connections.
• Experience with requirements management tools is a plus.
• Strong English and German written and spoken skills.

Tasks

• Development of software for the control and automation of test systems
• Development and refinement of electronic hardware (circuits, interfaces, prototypes)
• Analysis of hardware requirements and derivation of suitable test strategies
• Design, implementation and maintenance of automated production and functional tests, including documentation
• Development of test software for the reliable, reproducible validation of electronic assemblies
• Close collaboration with hardware development, production and quality assurance
• Analysis and resolution of problems in the production environment

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of at least one of the following languages:
• C++
• Python
• Experience with
• Low-level hardware programming
• Interface communication (e.g. UART, SPI, I²C, Ethernet, CAN)
• Knowledge of circuit design and electronics design
• Knowledge of programming test environments and database connections
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. Doors, Jama, Polarion, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English
• Good written and spoken German
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, a high level of commitment and quality awareness, as well as an independent and structured approach to work
