NAXCON GmbH invites engineers to join the Development of Product Software Systems team in a full-time role based in Germany. You will work on a next-generation communication gateway for intrusion and fire alarm systems, and you will analyze hardware architectures, align concepts with customer needs, and support from design to production.

• A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware development for electronic systems.
• Experience with circuit design, circuit simulation, layout design, and component selection.
• Good knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with common development and simulation tools (e.g., PSpice or comparable tools).
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

• Analyze existing hardware and system architectures, build expertise on the current gateway solution, and identify development needs.
• Identify and evaluate the technical differences between existing products and the future gateway.
• Align technical concepts with system and customer requirements and support hardware architecture development.
• Support hardware development from requirements analysis through circuit design and simulation to verification, approval, and transition to production.
• Collaborate with hardware architects, software developers, and other project stakeholders.

Tasks:

• "Work on the next generation of a communication gateway for modern intrusion and fire alarm systems;
• Analyze existing hardware and system architectures, build expertise on the current gateway solution, and identify existing development artifacts as well as future development needs;
• Identify and evaluate the technical differences between existing products and the future gateway;
• Aligning technical concepts with relevant system and customer requirements and supporting the development of a future-proof hardware architecture;
• Supporting hardware development from requirements analysis through circuit design and simulation to verification, approval, and transition to series production;
• Working closely with hardware architects, software developers, and other project stakeholders;
• Working in an interdisciplinary project team and coordinating with national and international development partners to implement innovative solutions for our intrusion detection technology;
