Jobbeschreibung

• Create design concepts for client websites and e-commerce stores, primarily WordPress and WooCommerce
• Design page templates, product and category pages, checkout flows, and landing pages
• Prepare clean, well-structured, developer-ready files and handovers, including responsive states, components, spacing, and typography rules
• Create on-brand Facebook Ads and Google Ads creatives, including static, motion-lite, and iteration variants
• Design email marketing campaigns and flows, content marketing graphics, and social assets
• Use heatmaps, analytics, tracking findings, and test results to make conversion-focused design decisions
• Understand client visual brand identities and advise Account Managers on design ideas, improvements, and optimizations
• Communicate design ideas in writing, verbally, and visually to team members and clients
• Implement feedback and design changes
• Assist Account Managers with Figma tasks and professional reports
• Collaborate with Account Managers, developers, marketing, analytics, and other designers
• Design marketing materials for Digitalist's own marketing efforts
• Maintain high design standards and improve design-driven results for assigned clients
• Attend client meetings alongside Account Managers
• Participate in training, skill-building sessions, Design Team group calls, and industry best-practice research
• Report directly to the Design Lead and Agency Director

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Designer in a professional role or similar experience in a design role at another agency
• Established design portfolio showcasing elevated, effective, and on-brand work for a variety of clients, stores, and niches
• Experience designing websites and online stores that were actually built and launched, ideally on WordPress or WooCommerce
• Demonstrable experience designing paid social and search creative, and email marketing designs
• In-depth proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with WordPress, Slack, a time-tracking tool, a project management tool, and Google Workspace Suite
• Comfortable designing for WordPress and WooCommerce builds
• Basic HTML and CSS literacy
• Must be able to work on video editing tasks, mostly for UGC content
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; must be fluent in English
• Must be available and responsive during Central Europe standard office hours, Monday to Friday
• Must have a stable internet connection, a laptop or PC, and be able to attend virtual video conferences
• Slovenian, Croatian, or Serbian is a plus, but not a requirement
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
• Strong typography skills and refined aesthetic sense
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with high accountability and responsiveness
