Zusammenfassung

Exyte seeks a Design Manager (m/f/d) to control, manage and optimize designs for high-tech factory projects. The role covers budgeting, schedule delivery and cross-discipline coordination in Biopharma, Life Science or Semiconductors environments.

You will drive design reviews, manage design coordination meetings, and ensure efficient, technically accurate project design in line with project constraints. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Must have several years of professional experience in project execution and design management in Biopharma & Life Science or Semiconductors.
• Knowledge of engineering workflows and principal content (P&IDs, 3D model development, specification, system description).
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Drives consistent project objectives and procedures across CSA, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, I&C, LSS, IT and Security disciplines.
• Monitor design process, participate in lead discipline design reviews for constructability and value-added engineering.
• Lead internal and external design coordination meetings.
• Lead design reviews such as P&ID and 3D-Model reviews.
• Ensure the overall project design and production process aligns with budget and schedule.
• Support Project Manager with proposal and project setup (Man loader, Project Schedule, Benchmarking, Estimation, Design Change Management).
• Analyze, structure, prioritise and delegate tasks regarding design and engineering issues and follow up results.

Monitor and manage all design activities within a project, including the engineering budget and delivery schedule.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Drives consistent project objectives and procedures to CSA, Mechanical, Process,Electrical,I&C, LSS, IT and Security disciplines.

• Leading of internal and external design coordination meetings
• Leading design reviews e.g. P&ID Reviews and 3D-Model Reviews
• Ensure the overall project design and production process is conducted in the most efficient and technically accurate manner possible in accordance with the stipulated project budget and schedule
• Support Project Manager within proposal and project setup (Man loader, Project Schedule, Benchmarking, Estimats, Design Change Management)
• Analyzation, structure, priories and delegate tasks regarding design and engineering issues and follow up the results
