Job summary

Laubinger + Rickmann GmbH & Co.KG in Nordwalde is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (m/f/d) to drive development of specialised machinery. You will produce 3D designs and manufacturing docs, ensure quality, and lead a small design team.

Qualifications

Senior Design Engineer (m/f/d) – Special-purpose machinery

Immediately | Full-time | Location: Nordwalde

• Responsibility for the conceptual and design development of complex specialised machinery and assemblies, including design and dimensioning
• Production of 3D designs and complete manufacturing documentation, as well as ensuring technical quality (functionality, costs, deadlines)
• providing technical leadership and guidance to a small design team, as well as support with technical issues
• close collaboration with project management, production and other relevant departments, as well as the optimisation and further development of technical solutions and standards

Your profile

• A degree in mechanical engineering and several years’ experience in the construction of specialised machinery
• a high level of expertise in finding solutions to complex design challenges
• Experience in the technical management or supervision of design engineers
• Excellent CAD skills (ideally SolidWorks) and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• a good command of spoken and written English
