avitea GmbH in Germany is seeking a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for an established specialty machinery manufacturer. You will develop custom machine and fixture solutions and design complete assemblies, machines, and automated lines.

From design through commissioning, you will provide technical support, coordinate with project teams, and revise existing concepts. Strong CAD skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Technical vocational training in metalworking or mechanical engineering, e.g., as a precision mechanic or industrial mechanic.
• Advanced training as a mechanical engineering technician or a completed technical degree with a focus on design.
• Experience in the design of machines and systems, ideally in the field of custom-built special-purpose machinery.
• Solid understanding of mechanical assemblies, machine concepts, and manufacturing-oriented designs.
• Extensive experience in 3D CAD design and, ideally, knowledge of 2D CAD.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and systematically with a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Team-oriented personality with a proactive approach and a passion for developing technical solutions.
