Mane Contract Services in Frankfurt is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design delivery on a major international data centre project. You will oversee consultant procurement, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and drive the design programme from start to finish.

The role requires 5–7+ years in construction, engineering or architecture, a BIM environment background, and proven leadership of design teams and external consultants under tight deadlines.

• Excellent organisation, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to demanding deadlines.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience highly desirable.

We're recruiting for a senior project opportunity on a major international data centre development in Frankfurt, where you'll take ownership of the design delivery process from consultant procurement through to construction and project completion.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing the overall Design Delivery Schedule
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and consultants
• Managing consultant scopes, deliverables, performance and fees
• Leading a small design team of 2-6 direct reports
• Managing design programmes, trackers and document control
• Reviewing design information for quality, coordination and compliance
• Identifying design risks, delays and implementing recovery strategies
• Coordinating closely with the client, architects, consultants and project team
• Supporting project planning, programming and commercial reporting
• Driving effective communication between design and construction teams
• Identifying opportunities to optimise design solutions and improve project efficiency
