Zusammenfassung

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA in Germany seeks a PhD-level chemist to drive debonding technology development in the lab. You will align internal and external stakeholders, develop mid- and long-term debonding concepts, and lead a capable R&D lab infrastructure.

The role requires agile teamwork across regions, strong presentation skills, and fluency in German and English. You will contribute to circular economy initiatives and help scale technologies over the next five years.

Qualifikationen

• PhD degree in Chemistry.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in chemistry and/or formulation of adhesives, sealants or coatings in the field of debonding.
• Passion for lab work and scalable technology development within a circular economy.
• Convincing and influencing presentation skills.
• Extrovert, strong collaborator, proactive across regions.
• Agile mindset to manage diverse projects across technologies.
• Fluent German and English.

Aufgaben

• Collect internal debonding needs and align existing project know-how to develop new mid and long-term debonding technology direction.

• Monitor the scientific literature and strengthen Henkel's IP position in debonding.
• Manage and lead the assigned R&D lab infrastructure according to regulations.
• Work in an agile technology development department to develop scalable technologies for the next 5 years.
• Be a driver for debonding technologies and proactively reach out to internal and external partners.

About this Position

Align with internal and external stakeholders promising debonding concepts and develop innovative debonding technologies in the laboratory to accomplish Henkel Adhesive Technologies goals (medium & long term).

• Collect internal debonding needs and align existing project know-how and learnings to develop new mid and long-term debonding technology direction
• Investigate and develops promising debonding technologies in the laboratory
• Screen and analyze external debonding ideas, technologies and concepts for potential technical development projects
• Monitor the scientific literature and strengthens Henkels IP position in the field of debondable adhesives
• Manage and lead the assigned R&D lab infrastructure according to legal requirements, rules and regulations
• Work in an agile technology development department to develop advanced technologies that can be scaled within the next 5 years
• Be a driver for debonding technologies and proactively reach out to internal and external partners
