You will analyze large datasets, develop algorithms, model graph data structures with Neo4j, integrate NoSQL databases, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in an agile, hybrid setup that includes some travel.

Your contribution: Using smart models and well-founded analyses, you will support technical decision‑making processes in the aerospace and defense sectors, thereby creating the foundation for high-performance, secure, and future-oriented solutions.

What can you expect?

• Data analysis and validation: Clean and validate complex datasets using statistical and stochastic models to ensure high data quality
• Algorithm development: Design and develop complex algorithms for the analysis of very large datasets
• Graph Data Modeling and Data Integration: Develop and maintain data models based on graph databases, analyze complex relationship structures in large datasets, and support the integration and processing of non-relational data
• Data-driven system optimization: Develop data-driven strategies to ensure and continuously improve the functionality, performance, and safety of highly complex systems
• Coordination and stakeholder management: Act as an interface between technical teams, project management, and customers
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work in agile and interdisciplinary teams – both internally at INVENSITY and on‑site at the customer
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring: Share your expertise in workshops, coaching sessions, and projects while also learning from other experts

Your profile

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
• Professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics
• Strong knowledge of and hands‑on experience in processing large datasets, as well as a solid understanding of statistical structures
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Proficiency in working with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and non‑relational database systems (NoSQL)
• Experience in modeling, analyzing, and querying complex data relationships within graph‑based data structures
• Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow is a plus
• Willingness to travel for national customer projects
• Business‑fluent German and fluent English skills
