Job summary

Alteos in Berlin’s City-West seeks a Customer Care & Claims Agent for the Netherlands (m/f/d). You will be the first point of contact for Dutch customers and partners, answering calls and emails, logging them accurately, and aiming to resolve issues on the first contact.

You will own new claims, monitor progress, and explain decisions clearly. You’ll manage the Hubspot CRM and our contract system, work with the Operations team to refine processes, and enjoy a remote full-time role with strong

Qualifications

• Dutch is the mother tongue and fluent in English.
• Experience in customer service, customer care, or a service center.
• Nice to have German; not required.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with B2B environments and AI-tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and partners in the Netherlands via calls and emails.
• Log inquiries accurately and resolve issues on first contact.
• Own new claims casos and monitor progress to prevent slips.
• Explain decisions clearly and maintain the CRM and contract system.

These tasks are waiting for you

• You're the first point of contact for our customers and partners in the Netherlands. You take calls and emails, log them properly, and like to sort things out right on the first contact.
• You take on new claims cases yourself and keep an eye on them proactively, so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Being reachable and hitting our service levels isn't down to luck for you, it's the result of how independently and responsibly you work.
• You make sure our customers and partners can always understand how and why we make our decisions.
• Our CRM (Hubspot) and our self-built contract management system are in good hands with you, you use and maintain both actively.
• Together with our Operations team, you keep fine-tuning our processes so things run more smoothly for customers, partners, and us internally.

This is what you bring to the table

• Dutch is your mother tongue and you're fluent in English. German is a nice bonus, but not a must.
• You bring experience in customer service, customer care, or a service center, and ideally you've already spent some time in the insurance industry.
• Customer focus, decisiveness, and assertiveness aren't foreign concepts to you, and you communicate really well.
• You're simply a friendly, open person who enjoys talking, writing, and chatting with customers.
• Nice to have: you've already worked in a B2B environment, you're interested in our products, you're tech-savvy, and you use AI tools naturally to work more efficiently.
