Zusammenfassung

Alteos GmbH in Berlin is looking for a hands-on software engineering lead to own the Configuration Experience for our insurance platform. You will code and ship yourself while mentoring peers, shaping architecture, and collaborating with product and stakeholders in a hybrid work model.

You will spend most time hands-on—researching technical solutions, writing RFCs, building PoCs with other teams, and shipping the resulting code yourself, while guiding the team through architectural decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on software engineer with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience leading or managing people, with growth mindset.
• Full-stack understanding across frontend and backend, cloud-agnostic.
• Experience using AI tools in engineering workflows.
• Nice to have insurance or finance domain experience.

This is what you bring to the table

You don't need to tick every box. If this sounds like your kind of work, we want to hear from you.

• Solid hands-on experience as a software engineer with Node.js and TypeScript.
• First experience leading or managing people — you don't need years of management under your belt, but you've done it at least once and want to grow into it further.
• Full-stack understanding across frontend and backend, with a cloud-agnostic mindset.
• Solid experience working with AI tools in your engineering workflow — Harnesses, delegating tasks to subagents, orchestrating multi-agent setups, and similar. Clear communicator, motivated to grow into building and guiding a team over time.
• Insurance or finance experience is a plus.
