Job summary

Cainiao is seeking a logistics operations professional to manage end-to-end warehouse processes and drive continuous improvements. You will lead teams, coordinate with multiple functions, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure efficiency and cost control.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in logistics or related fields, strong communication skills, and a passion for lean operations in a cross-border e-commerce context. This role requires on-site work in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, putaway, inventory, picking, shipping.
• Develop and optimize SOPs to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor KPIs: inbound/outbound, inventory accuracy, lead times; drive improvements.
• Lead team management and workforce planning: recruitment, training, scheduling, performance.
• Coordinate with transportation, IT, supply chain, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure service quality and cost control.
• Support new warehouse setups, launches, and process implementations.
• Handle operational exceptions and maintain safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operation management of warehouses/logistics centers, including end-to-end processes such as receiving, putaway, inventory management, picking, and shipping.
• Develop and optimize operational processes (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and service quality, continuously driving lean operations.
• Monitor key operational KPIs, such as inbound/outbound efficiency, inventory accuracy, fulfillment lead time, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead team management and workforce planning, including recruitment, training, shift scheduling, and performance management.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with transportation, customers, IT, supply chain, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
• Manage third-party vendors (e.g., outsourcing providers, staffing agencies, transportation partners), ensuring service quality and cost control.
• Support new warehouse setup, business launches, and process implementation.
• Handle operational exceptions and emergency situations to ensure warehouse safety, compliance, and stable operations.
