Job summary

Jack Wolfskin Retail GmbH is seeking a Corporate Treasury Intern (f/m/d) at our Idstein headquarters, with relocation to Eschborn by end of 2026. You will support cash positioning, liquidity management, FX, reporting, and bank data management, using Excel and Power BI.

The internship lasts 4 to 6 months. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, with strong analytical skills and fluent English. German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or have completed studies.
• Strong interest in Corporate Treasury, banking, and financial technology.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Structured, accurate, and reliable work approach.
• Proactive, curious, and able to take initiative.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with FX risk management, payments, and other treasury activities.
• Maintain and update bank accounts, bank connectivity, and cash management data.
• Support treasury reporting, analyses, and management presentations.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing a new Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Support management of guarantees and insurance policies.
• Contribute to redesign and implementation of international cash pooling and banking structure.
• Perform treasury analyses using Excel, Power BI, and banking tools.
• Document, review, and improve treasury processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate information with banks, TMS providers, and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for you to join our team in the Treasury & Insurance Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Corporate Treasury Intern (f/m/d) as soon as possible.

Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn towards the end of 2026, and your primary workplace will transition to Eschborn accordingly.

• Support daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with foreign exchange (FX) risk management, payments, and other operational treasury activities.
• Maintain and update bank account, bank connectivity, and cash management data.
• Support treasury reporting, financial analyses, and management presentations.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Support the management of guarantees and insurance policies.
• Contribute to the redesign and implementation of our international cash pooling and banking structure.
• Perform treasury and financial analyses using Excel, Power BI, and banking tools.

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or you have successfully completed your studies.

• You possess strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• You work in a structured, accurate, and reliable manner.
• You are proactive, curious, and enjoy taking initiative.
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English. German language skills are an advantage.
• You are available for a period of 4 to 6 months.
