Jack Wolfskin sucht Sie als Financial Controller (w/m/d) in der Finanzabteilung am Standort Neu Wulmstorf. Sie steuern Finanzplanung, Budgetierung, Forecasting, Monats-/Jahresabschlüsse und liefern Impulse zur Kostenoptimierung.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Finanzen, Buchhaltung oder Betriebswirtschaft.
• Mindestens 6 Jahre Erfahrung in Controlling, Finanzen oder Rechnungswesen.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Finanzberichten, Planung und Controlling.
• Erfahrung mit Finanzkontrollen, Compliance und Audit-Umgebungen.
• Fortgeschrittene Excel- und Reporting-Fähigkeiten; BI-Tools von Vorteil.
• SAP S/4HANA-Erfahrung ist ein Plus; Erfahrung im Lager-/Logistikbereich hilfreich.
• Ausgeprägte analytische Denkweise; klare, geschäftsorientierte Kommunikation.

Responsibilities

• Verantwortung für Finanzplanung, Budgetierung und Forecasting.
• Erstellung und Analyse monatlicher Berichte inkl. Abweichungsanalysen.
• Überwachung der Finanzleistung und Ableitung von Empfehlungen.
• Unterstützung von Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen in enger Abstimmung mit der Buchhaltung.
• Sicherung interner Kontrollen zum Schutz lokaler Vermögenswerte.
• Überwachung von Ausgaben und Freigabeprozessen (PRs, Verträge, Rechnungen).
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung interner Richtlinien und Audit-Anforderungen.
• Unterstützung interner und externer Audits.
• Durchführung von Profitabilitäts-, Kosten- und Investitionsanalysen.

We are looking for you to join our team in the FinanceDepartmentat Neu Wulmstorfas a Financial Controller (f/m/d) as soon as possible.

• Responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance tracking
• Monitoring financial performance and deriving actionable recommendations
• Support of month-end and year-end closing processes in close cooperation with Accounting
• Ensuring proper financial controls to safeguard local assets, including inventory and warehouse-related investments
• Monitoring and controlling expenses, ensuring correct approval processes (PRs, contracts, invoices)
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, financial guidelines, and audit requirements
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Conducting profitability, cost, and investment analyses to support operational and strategic decisions
• Identifying risks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
• Acting as a key finance contact for local stakeholders and management
• Monitoring inventory performance (e.g. stock levels, movements, valuation) and ensuring transparency and accuracy
• Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting tools, and data quality
• Driving efficiency and clarity in financial reporting and controlling processes

• Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, planning, and controlling processes
• Experience with financial controls, compliance, and audit environments
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting / BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience is a strong plus.
• Warehouse and logistics industry background is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate figures into business insights
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
• Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently in a local entity environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
• Fluent in English and German
