Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks a web designer/developer to create and maintain WordPress sites with Beaver Builder and block-based tools. You will ensure brand consistency, craft templates, and optimize content across pages and campaigns.

You’ll work with SEO and Product Marketing on updates, use WP Engine staging, and apply typography and layout guidelines to deliver mobile-friendly pages across languages.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining websites in WordPress or a comparable CMS.
• Hands-on experience with Beaver Builder and WordPress block-based page-building tools.
• Experience working with WP Engine, including staging, testing, and production environments.
• Strong visual design skills and understanding of layout, typography, color, and brand consistency.
• Proficiency with Figma and Sketch.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, including CSS troubleshooting and optimization.
• Familiarity with responsive, mobile-first, accessible, and performance-focused web design principles.
• Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals.
• Experience collaborating with SEO, Product Marketing, content, and web teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Design and lay out visually engaging, on-brand web pages
• Build and update WordPress pages using Beaver Builder and block-based page-building tools
• Create and maintain page templates, landing pages, banners, graphics, and website assets

• Optimize CSS, page layouts, and images for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
• Apply on-page SEO best practices, including heading structures, alt text, internal linking, and metadata
• Proofread and quality-check pages across browsers and devices
• Maintain consistent design components and content structure
• Troubleshoot minor layout, styling, and display issues
• Stay current with web design, usability, accessibility, and performance trends
• Coordinate publishing and maintenance of localized website content across languages
