Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned WordPress engineer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based web properties, including custom themes and plugins. You will build landing pages and site sections in close collaboration with Marketing and Design, and implement responsive, accessible front-end code.

You will optimize performance, manage WordPress configuration and security, integrate third-party tools, and support QA across a remote-first team.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional web development with a strong WordPress focus.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (vanilla and/or modern frameworks).
• Hands-on experience building WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Experience with WordPress VIP hosting and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg or similar page builders.
• Experience integrating HubSpot, Salesforce, GA, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO.
• WordPress security best practices and site hardening.
• Git-based version control experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities.

• Experience with WordPress VIP, including familiarity with its hosting environment, deployment workflows, and code standards
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools
• Experience integrating HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
• Understanding of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO
• Solid grasp of WordPress security best practices and site hardening
• Experience with Git‑based version control workflows
