BatchData is seeking a WordPress Administrator to own the day-to-day administration of batchdata.io, our marketing landing site. You will manage pages built with Elementor, insert HTML pages, and own the site's technical SEO foundation and GTM container.

In this role you will update content, ensure security, monitor performance, and coordinate with marketing, product, and engineering. Part-time, remote, aligned to US Eastern Time, 20 hours per week.

Job Title: WordPress Administrator

Work Hours: Aligned with US Eastern Time

Part-time - 20 hours/week, Remote.

Job Summary

BatchData is looking for a WordPress Administrator to own the day-to-day administration of batchdata.io, our marketing landing site. The site is how prospects find us, learn what our products do, and convert into demos and signups, so it has to be fast, accurate, discoverable, and always up.

You will build and maintain pages on our Elementor-based site existing pages are built with Elementor while new pages are developed as HTML and inserted within the Elementor plugin keep site content current and correct as our products evolve and own the technical SEO foundation of the site XML sitemaps Google Search Console structured data and the plugins and tools we use to improve search rankings. You will also manage our Google Tag Manager container which carries all of the third-party tracking scripts we rely on for ad campaign performance and conversion tracking.

This is a hands-on role. In a typical week you might launch a new landing page for a campaign fix a sitemap duplication issue flagged in Search Console optimize oversized images hurting mobile page speed update pricing page content for a new dataset deploy a new conversion tag in GTM and keep WordPress core themes and plugins updated and licensed Work is tracked in Jira and coordinated with our marketing product and engineering teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer the batchdata.io WordPress site end to end: WordPress core theme and plugin updates on a scheduled basis tested in staging before applying to production where applicable license renewals removing unused themes and plugins and keeping the site secure and stable.
• Manage the site’s Cloudways hosting environment staging environments manual and scheduled backups including verifying backups and restoring when needed server-level caching Varnish Redis and escalating server-related issues to Cloudways support.
• Publish and maintain marketing pages and campaign landing pages New pages are developed as HTML and inserted within the existing Elementor plugin rather than built with Elementor widgets so this means placing adjusting and troubleshooting HTML-based pages inside Elementor as well as maintaining existing Elementor-built pages forms menus page templates and global components headers footers navigation matching our brand and design standards and verifying responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Keep site content accurate and current product pages pricing pages legal pages Terms of Service Privacy Policy reports and blog posts working from Jira tickets filed by marketing product and leadership.
• Own technical SEO for the site maintain the XML sitemaps used by search engine crawlers including de-duplication and sub-sitemap management configure and manage the Yoast SEO plugin maintain structured data schema markup and manage llms.txt and related discovery assets.
• Monitor and resolve issues in Google Search Console indexing problems crawl errors Core Web Vitals and mobile page-speed flags and sitemap health.
• Improve site performance image optimization caching and minification e.g. Breeze CDN and edge configuration in Cloudflare and reducing third-party script weight.
• Administer the marketing site’s Google Tag Manager container deploy document rename and retire tags for ad-platform conversion tracking and third-party analytics scripts and troubleshoot tag-related warnings and conflicts.
• Support SEO content and ranking tools integrated with the site e.g. automated blog publishing and SEO platforms investigating and fixing integration issues when they arise.
• Follow security best practices role-based user permissions plugin hygiene and vulnerability scanning site hardening e.g. disabling file editing limiting login attempts and regular scans for broken links.
• Work with engineering on site monitoring and QA keep the site friendly to our automated E2E monitoring Cloudflare and security allowlisting rate limits and help resolve issues the monitors surface.
• Closely monitor the site’s highest-stakes pages and forms and keep them functional and up to date at all times This includes compliance-critical pages such as our privacy opt-out Your Privacy Choices page where a broken or outdated page creates legal exposure with steep per-violation fines and the contact/demo forms across the site that our paid ad campaigns drive traffic to where a broken form has a hard financial cost in wasted ad spend and lost pipeline Verify these pages after every plugin theme or Elementor update and treat any defect on them as a drop-everything priority.
• Respond urgently when something on the site is broken a missing demo form a down page or misfiring tag and communicate status clearly until it is resolved.
• Track all work in Jira keep tickets updated and document configurations and fixes so they are repeatable.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a WordPress administrator with a significant share of that time maintaining content for a marketing or landing site not just blog or brochure maintenance.
• Strong current experience administering an Elementor including Elementor Pro site our template engine including maintaining Elementor-built pages and working with custom HTML pages inserted within Elementor.
• Solid understanding of how search engines crawl and index a site including hands-on experience maintaining XML sitemaps robots directives and canonical URLs used by web crawlers.
• General SEO experience including hands-on work with common WordPress SEO plugins and tools Yoast SEO or equivalent and with Google Search Console to diagnose and fix indexing crawl and page-experience issues.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager creating updating documenting and retiring tags triggers and variables for third-party tracking scripts ad campaign performance measurement and conversion tracking.
• Working knowledge of website performance optimization Core Web Vitals image optimization caching/minification plugins and CDN basics.
• Experience with a managed WordPress hosting platform Cloudways preferred staging environments backups and restores cache management Varnish Redis and working with hosting support on server-level issues.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills new pages arrive as HTML that you will insert adjust and troubleshoot inside Elementor plus the ability to make careful edits to embedded scripts and page markup and to diagnose front-end and back-end issues with tools like Chrome Developer Tools Query Monitor or WP_DEBUG.
• Experience using an issue tracker Jira preferred to receive track and document work with marketing and engineering teams.
• Excellent written English and clear easily understood spoken English.
• Experience supporting US-based teams from an offshore location on a shift aligned to US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloudflare caching rules security settings bot management in front of a WordPress site.
• Experience with structured data schema.org markup and rich results.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and ad-platform conversion tags Google Ads Bing Ads LinkedIn etc.
• Experience with SEO content platforms or automated publishing tools e.g. SearchAtlas Outrank or similar.
• Exposure to automated site monitoring or E2E testing e.g. Playwright from the site-administration side.
• Background in B2B SaaS real estate proptech or data products.
