Mercanis is seeking a Content Manager to own our narrative that shapes Mercanis's product, customers, and point of view into thought leadership and effective sales content.

You'll report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate with leadership across Marketing, Product, and Sales to turn procurement insights into compelling content and campaigns. A hybrid setup will be based out of Berlin or London, with competitive compensation and an equity package.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of B2B content or copywriting experience.
• A portfolio that shows real creative storytelling.
• Fluency in German and English (C2 level).
• Comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders and formats at once.
• A sharp eye for structure, narrative, and detail.
• Nice to have: procurement, supply chain, or enterprise software exposure.

• Plan, write, and publish thought-leadership content—articles, POVs, and LinkedIn posts.
• Ghostwrite for CEO and execs—LinkedIn posts, bylines, blog articles, and press releases.
• Own white papers and reports end to end: research, outline, write, brief design, promote.
• Write landing pages, one-pagers, and campaign copy with Product Marketing for messaging.
• Partner with PMM to turn product releases into customer-facing content and sales collateral.
• Write SEO content—blogs, guides—based on briefs from Growth Marketing.
• Manage content calendar across web, blog, and social with consistent brand voice.
• Track content performance and iterate to drive pipeline.

Procurement is having its AI moment - and someone needs to tell that story well. As our Content Manager, you'll own the narrative that turns Mercanis's product, customers, and point of view into thought leadership, sharp landing pages, and content our sales team can actually use in front of prospects.

You'll report to our VP of Marketing and work closely with our leadership, Marketing, Product, and Sales - turning what we know about procurement into content that builds our reputation and moves deals forward.

Your Responsibilities on this role

• Plan, write, and publish thought-leadership content - articles, POVs, and LinkedIn content - that positionsMercanisas a leading voice in AI-native procurement
• Ghostwrite and shape thought-leadership content for our CEO and other execs - LinkedIn posts, bylines,aticlesfor blog, press releases
• Own white papers and reports end to end: research, outline, write, brief design, and drive promotion
• Write and continuously improve landing pages, one-pagers, and campaign copy that convert,workingin collaboration with Product Marketing on messaging andwith Field Marketing oneventcampaigns
• Partner with Product Marketing (PMM) to turn product releases and positioning into customer-facing content and sales collateral
• Write SEO/GEO content - blog,articles,guides, and other structured, answer-engine-optimized pieces - based on briefs from Growth Marketing, to buildMercanis'svisibility across search and AI answer engines
• Manage a content calendar across web, blog, and social, keeping quality and brand voice consistent across every asset
• Track content performance and iterate based on whatactually drivespipeline - not just traffic

Role requirements

• 5+ years of B2B content or copywriting experience, ideally in SaaS or another complex, considered-purchase industry
• A portfolio that shows real creative storytelling - you can make a technical or "dry" topic genuinely interesting to read
• Full professional mastery (C2) in both German and English, with at least one language at an idiomatic / native-equivalent level
• Comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders and formats at once - from a 10-page white paper to a punchy landing page headline
• A sharp eye for structure, narrative, and detail - you edit your own work hard before anyone else sees it
• Nice to have: experience in or exposure to procurement, supply chain, or enterprise software - you'llpick up the domain fast either way, but a head start helps
