Jobtailor is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large roofing and general contracting projects. You will draft scopes, manage bids, negotiate contracts, and supervise site teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients, uphold safety standards, and enforce quality control while expanding services within existing accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in construction/roofing.
• Class B General Contractor License; Supervisors license a plus.
• OSHA certifications and site safety proficiency required.

• Draft comprehensive scopes of work for construction projects
• Develop detailed RFPs and advise clients on vendor selection and contract negotiation
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders on project requirements and standards
• Review and analyze bids, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor performance
• Oversee day-to-day construction operations to complete projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Manage construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily logs
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance
• Resolve construction issues and conflicts
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
• Provide client updates, reports, consultative advice, and strategic guidance
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
• Implement and maintain quality control programs
• Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Conduct regular project meetings
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Monitor progress and address issues affecting timelines or quality

Requirements

• Must live in Northern California


• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field; qualifying experience in the roofing industry can be considered in lieu of degree


• Current minimum Class B General Contractor License or ability to become licensed as a General Contractor in all Colorado jurisdictions


• Supervisors license is a big plus


• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible managerial and administrative experience in the construction and roofing field, 5 years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity


• OSHA Certifications and experience with project site safety protocols


• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds


• Ability to climb ladders to rooftops, including steep and low-slope roofs, while conducting forensic inspections of roofing materials
