We ARE Renewables is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a large-scale siting project near Niebüll, Germany. The role covers daily site leadership, contractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence during a six-month engagement.

You will liaise between contractors, the internal project team, and the client, applying German construction laws and HSE standards throughout execution. Fluency in German is essential.

We ARE Renewables is looking for an experienced Construction Manager for a large-scale construction project in Niebüll, Germany. The expected duration is approximately 6 months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance.

As part of the site construction team, you will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of all construction activities on site. You will ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the schedule, budget, quality standards, and HSE requirements, and you will act as the link between contractors, the project organization, and the client.

Due to the project location, a good command of the German language is essential. In addition, you have extensive knowledge of German laws and regulations applicable to industrial construction projects.

Your Role:

As a Construction Manager, you will be part of the on-site project team and will have overall responsibility for managing the construction team during the execution phase of the project.

You will supervise the activities on a daily basis, coordinate the various contractors, and ensure that the agreed project objectives are achieved. In addition to operational management, a significant part of your role will focus on stakeholder management, change management, and ensuring safety and quality on the construction site.

You will be the primary point of contact for contractors, the internal project organization, and the client, ensuring effective collaboration between all parties involved.

Tasks & responsibilities:

In this role, you will combine operational leadership with project coordination and stakeholder management. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and managing all construction and installation activities on site
• Monitoring the progress, safety, and quality of the work on a daily basis
• Ensuring that project objectives relating to schedule, budget, quality, and HSE are met
• Coordinating the activities of contractors and subcontractors
• Acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, the project organization, and the client
• Ensuring timely and effective communication between the project team and executing parties
• Managing and monitoring the construction schedule
• Identifying and managing risks, deviations, and changes within the project
• Implementing and monitoring safety procedures and safe working conditions
• Reporting on progress, risks, and performance to project management
• Supporting change management processes within the project
• Escalating issues and contributing to appropriate solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the construction phase of the project on site
• Ensuring execution in accordance with approved designs and technical specifications
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality standards, and legal requirements
• Implementing and enforcing Construction Safety guidelines
• Investigating, documenting, and escalating incidents and safety deviations
• Initiating and monitoring corrective actions where required
• Assessing and monitoring the safety performance of contractors
• Managing and supporting the site construction team
• Coordinating stakeholder management and alignment with all parties involved
• Applying German laws and regulations throughout project execution

You are an experienced Construction Manager who is able to maintain an overview in complex industrial projects. You have excellent leadership skills and know how to effectively connect and manage different stakeholders. Safety, quality, and project results are always your top priorities.

In addition, you have:

• A completed MBO or HBO degree in a technical field
