NAXCON GmbH, a leading German engineering and IT service provider, seeks a Configuration Manager (m/f/d) in Bremen. You will handle configuration management, document control, and change coordination across hardware and software domains within defense projects. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Responsibilities include auditing, method definition for product structures, and CM system enhancement in SAP. Travel readiness is expected for worldwide assignments.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in German and English required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent certification.
• Experience in configuration management and related standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint desirable.

Tasks

• Configuration management in accordance with DIN ISO 10007 (planning, identification, record-keeping, and change control) in projects and product teams
• Document control, comprehensive maintenance of product and project documents with a focus on audit compliance.
• Coordination and tracking in change management, as well as participation in the change control board
• Support in defining the project-specific methodology for the structure, numbering, and labeling of the product structure (hardware, software, including material number assignment)
• Conducting internal and external configuration audits, as well as preparing analyses and change overviews
• Further development and maintenance of the configuration management system in SAP, as well as cross-departmental coordination to develop consistent and standards-compliant configuration solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable) or certification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in configuration management, ideally in a technical environment; knowledge of configuration management standards is a plus
• Fluency in German and English
• Experience in the areas of product structure, technical drawing sets, and documentation
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (Material Management, Configuration and Change Management)
• Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint is desirable
• Current CM2 / CMPIC certification (Levels 1–4, 10) is desirable Willingness to travel worldwide
