Zusammenfassung

Livello Technologies is building and maintaining a production-grade cloud platform that connects hundreds of smart kiosks across multiple countries. You’ll own production infrastructure from day one, focusing on platform reliability, security, networking, access control, and operations across our cloud stack.

We seek hands-on engineers with strong Linux-based cloud experience, Kubernetes in production, and proficiency with GCP/AWS, Terraform, and Ansible to build scalable, secure, and observable

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on Linux-based cloud infrastructure experience in production.
• Kubernetes production experience including networking, rollout management and reliability.
• Experience with GCP/AWS in production environments (GKE, IAM, VPC, DNS, Load Balancing, observability).
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and/or Ansible in production systems.
• Strong understanding of Linux, container networking, DNS, TLS, authentication/authorization, and incident troubleshooting.

• Operate and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform in production.
• Modernize authorization and authentication services for scalability and security.
• Implement and maintain deployment pipelines with automation and reproducibility (Ansible, etc.).
• Design inter-service communication patterns for a resilient distributed system.
• Apply cloud security practices including certificate management and access control.
• Build internal tooling and management capabilities for cloud components (messaging systems, databases).
• Develop and maintain redundancy and high-availability strategies as the platform scales.

At Livello, you won't be writing ticket after ticket in a faceless enterprise. You'll be one of the people responsible for our entire cloud platform - the backbone that connects our intelligent retail kiosks to the services that make them work - keeping hundreds of smart kiosks running autonomously across multiple countries.

This role is a production infrastructure position with operational responsibility from day one. We are looking for candidates who already have demonstrable hands‑on experience operating Linux-based cloud workloads in production, including Kubernetes environments, GCP, messaging systems, deployment automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting. The focus of the role is platform reliability, security, networking, access control, and service operations across our cloud stack.

Tasks

• Operate and improve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, keeping production workloads healthy and performant
• Modernize our authorization and authentication services for better scalability and security
• Implement and maintain deployment pipelines with a focus on consistency, automation, and reproducibility using tools like Ansible
• Design inter-service communication patterns that keep our distributed system resilient
• Cloud security practices including certificate management, access controls, and operational compliance
• Build internal tooling and management capabilities for cloud components such as messaging systems and databases
• Develop and maintain redundancy and high-availability strategies as the platform scales

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience operating Linux-based cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads in production
• 2+ years of practical Kubernetes experience in production, including networking, rollout management, troubleshooting, and service reliability
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform / AWS in production environments, ideally with GKE, IAM, VPC, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing, and observability tooling
• Proven experience writing and maintaining infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform and/or Ansible in production systems
• Confident understanding of Linux, container networking, DNS, TLS, authentication/authorization concepts, and incident‑oriented troubleshooting
• Ability to take ownership for operational stability, rollout processes, and security‑related infrastructure tasks
• A valid full‑time work permit for Germany
