You know your way around containers, clusters, and cloud infrastructure. Now you want to put those skills to work somewhere they actually matter — keeping hundreds of smart kiosks running autonomously across the country.

At Livello, you won't be writing ticket after ticket in a faceless enterprise. You'll be one of the people responsible for our entire cloud platform — the backbone that connects our intelligent retail kiosks to the services that make them work. You'll get your hands on everything from Kubernetes and GCP to messaging systems, authentication services, and deployment pipelines.

As Cloud platform Engineer at Livello you'll grow fast. You'll start contributing to real production systems from week one, and over time take on increasing ownership of architecture, security, and reliability. Tasks

• Operate and improve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, keeping production workloads healthy and performant
• Help modernize our authorization and authentication services for better scalability and security
• Implement and maintain deployment pipelines with a focus on consistency, automation, and reproducibility using tools like Ansible
• Contribute to the design of inter-service communication patterns that keep our distributed system resilient
• Support cloud security practices including certificate management, access controls, and operational compliance
• Build internal tooling and management capabilities for cloud components such as messaging systems and databases
• Develop and maintain redundancy and high-availability strategies as the platform scales

Requirements

• Practical experience with Linux, containers, and cloud infrastructure — whether from work, coursework, or internships
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts (deployments, services, networking) and a willingness to deepen that knowledge in production
• Some hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud provider
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS, and how web services communicate
• Curiosity about security, system design, and operational reliability
• A valid full-time work permit for Germany
