Global General Surgery Recruitment Specialist

Clinical Specialist - Surgical Robotics (DACH Region)

We are partnering with a leading surgical robotics company to support the expansion of its advanced robotic-assisted surgery platform across the DACH region.

This field-based role is focused on delivering expert procedural support, clinical training, and ongoing education to surgeons, theatre nurses, and OR teams during the adoption and integration of a next-generation surgical robotic system.

We are seeking a clinically driven professional with hands-on experience in the operating room and a strong understanding of minimally invasive surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with strong communication skills to build confidence and drive utilisation across hospitals and surgical centres.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-theatre case support to surgical teams during robotic procedures, ensuring safe and effective system use
  • Deliver structured training to surgeons, scrub nurses, and OR staff across various care settings
  • Support new system installations, onboarding, and clinical implementation plans
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on robotic system setup, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and safety protocols
  • Partner with sales and commercial teams to help drive clinical adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company at regional workshops, surgical congresses, and training events
  • Maintain detailed records of clinical activity, training sessions, and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines during all engagements
Qualifications
  • Degree in nursing, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or a related healthcare field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting surgical procedures, ideally in robotics or OR nursing
  • Prior experience with surgical robotic systems highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and training skills with clinical stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Willing and able to travel extensively across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
