bess Aktiengesellschaft in Berlin seeks a Clinical Affairs Manager (m/w/d) to expand and strengthen our Medical Affairs team. The role is full-time and located at our Berlin headquarters.

Responsibilities include clinical evaluations, literature reviews, coordinating preclinical/clinical studies, and contributing to risk management. Fluency in English and German (B1+) are required; English writing skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Professional experience in clinical research or related field.
• Fluent in English (C1) with strong scientific writing ability.
• German at least B1 level; some French desirable.
• Meticulous and efficient work style with good time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with cross-functional groups.

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and update clinical evaluations and periodic safety update reports for medical devices (in English).
• Conduct literature searches and evaluations.
• Support planning and coordination of preclinical and clinical studies for device approval and Post-Market Surveillance.
• Contribute to risk analyses and residual risk evaluation within risk management.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and Regulatory Affairs to support lifecycle projects.

We are currently looking for a Clinical Affairs Managers (m/w/d) to expand and strengthen our Medical Affairs team. The role is full-time, and based at our headquarters in Berlin.

Duties and responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and update clinical evaluations and periodic safety update reports for medical devices (in English)
• Conduct literature searches and evaluations
• Support the planning and coordination of preclinical and clinical studies for device approval and Post- Market Surveillance
• Provide support to the risk management process by contributing to risk analyses and the evaluation of residual riskss
• Work in close collaboration with R&D, Product Management and Regulatory Affairs, supporting R&D projects and life cycle management

Ihre Qualifikation

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a life sciences field
• Professional experience in clinical research or other relevant experience
• Fluent in English (minimum C1 level); international experience an advantage
• Strong skills in and enjoyment of scientific writing
• A meticulous and efficient work style
• Effective time management and ability to work in a teams
• German at B1 level or higher; some French desirable
