Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Civil Site Manager to oversee civil construction activities on wind farm projects, ensuring alignment with planning, quality standards, and site conditions. You will coordinate with project management, contractors, and customers to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution on site.

The role offers growth into full lifecycle project phases, including turbine erection, with a strong emphasis on proactive risk management and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or technical qualification with strong site experience.
• Experience in concrete structures or infrastructure projects; wind energy is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management in construction environments.
• High ownership, independent working style, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Valid German driving license and willingness to travel.
• German language skills (minimum B2) and good English skills, both written and spoken.

As a Civil Site Manager, you are responsible for overseeing civil construction activities within wind farm projects, ensuring alignment with planning, quality standards, and site conditions. In this role within Site Management Civil, you act as an independent coordination and control function on site. You work closely with project management, contractors, and customers to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project execution.

YOUR TASKS

• Monitor construction progress, quality, and site conditions through regular site visits as Civil Site Manager
• Ensure site readiness ahead of key construction activities and verify all required preconditions
• Oversee and track execution of civil works in line with design documents, specifications, and applicable standards
• Conduct inspections and release activities for subsequent construction phases based on defined quality criteria
• Identify risks early, proactively elevate deviations, and support implementation of mitigation measures
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and lead coordination and technical meetings
• Track project milestones, ensure compliance with HSE requirements, and provide structured reporting and documentation

YOUR PROFILE
