Volvo Group's Volvo Construction Equipment Germany GmbH is seeking a Chief Project Manager (f/m/d) to drive wheeled excavator projects from concept to closure within an international team. You will set milestones, coordinate with purchasing, production and aftermarket, and manage budgets, risks and scope while ensuring quality and safety in alignment with Product Safety.

Occasional travel within Europe is required.

• Lead wheeled excavator projects end-to-end, from concept to closure.
• Set milestones and adapt plans together with cross-functional teams.
• Manage budget, risks, resources, and scope.
• Coordinate closely with purchasing, production, and aftermarket.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance, in close coordination with Product Safety.
• Represent your projects in front of the relevant steering committees and decision gates.

We develop wheeled excavators from the first concept through series production, including advanced operator assistance systems that enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety. Vehicle Engineering is responsible for overall machine development, project portfolio management, machine safety, and special applications. Who are you?

• Degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years experience in leading complex projects
• Proven record of iterative, milestone-driven project delivery
• Technical know-how in vehicle hardware development is a strong merit
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
• Fluent in German and English
