Clera in Berlin is seeking a senior generalist to work directly with the founders. You will own high-priority workstreams across commercial, operational, and product areas, building processes and automations to scale as the company grows.

The role requires 4+ years of ownership experience, a proven velocity in delivery, and fluency in German (plus English). Equity is included; local work authorization in Germany is required. On-site in Berlin five days a week.

About the Role

This is the senior generalist seat sitting directly alongside the founders of a fast-growing consumer healthtech startup in Berlin. You own the most critical workstreams each quarter, moving fluidly across commercial, operational, and product priorities to keep the company executing at speed. Every person who joins at this stage has a real hand in shaping how the company operates at scale.

What You'll Do

• Take full ownership of high-priority workstreams end to end, from defining the problem to shipping and measuring the outcome.

• Move between commercial, operational, and product work as the company's most pressing needs shift, sometimes within the same week.

• Build structure and process where none exists, and rebuild it as the company outgrows it quickly.

• Translate founder priorities into execution across the team without adding a management layer in between.

• Contribute meaningfully to hiring decisions and help shape the team as it grows.

• Build AI automations and workflows hands-on, treating them as the default way of working rather than a side project.

What We're Looking For

• 4 or more years in roles with genuine ownership, such as startup operations, a founder's office, strategy, or management consulting.

• A demonstrably exceptional track record of operating at a high level, with evidence over credentials.

• Proven ability to execute at high velocity on compressed timelines with minimal guidance.

• Direct experience working with founders or C-level executives in an operational or strategic capacity.

• Hands-on experience building AI automations or workflows yourself, not only specifying them for others.

• Comfortable in early-stage, unstructured environments where no brief is handed to you.

• Strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clear, concise recommendations.

• Fluent German (spoken and written) is a hard requirement; strong English as well.

• Background in management consulting or prior experience in healthcare is a plus, but neither is a filter.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of EUR 70,000 to EUR 100,000 annually, with flexibility at the upper end for exceptional seniority. A meaningful equity stake is included as a genuine part of the package. No visa sponsorship is available; candidates must have local work authorization for Germany.

Location

On-site in Berlin, Germany, five days per week. Candidates must be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
