We are seeking a Chief Accountant for Partaharjun Puutarha Oy in Pieksämäki, Finland. The long-standing financial professional will retire, and this role entails taking full responsibility for the group's finances in collaboration with a skilled finance team. You will handle general accounting, monthly and annual closings, coordinating group accounting, tax declarations and regulatory reporting, and preparing for audits in cooperation with auditors. You will also contribute to developing financial administration together with the rest of the organization. The finance team includes a colleague handling invoicing and payroll, and another professional handling bookkeeping tasks. We offer a permanent position with a competent team, thorough onboarding with the current chief bookkeeper, strong support from a stable Finnish family-owned company, and opportunities to influence and develop the financial function. The work mainly occurs at the Pieksämäki office, with occasional remote days possible; start date per agreement.
