Serco Limited in Marlow is recruiting a Chef De Partie to lead a section of the kitchen and deliver high-quality meals. You will work with the catering team to create positive dining experiences and a welcoming environment, supporting wellbeing and customer care.

The role requires previous Chef De Partie experience, strong cooking skills, organizational ability, and knowledge of food safety. A team-focused attitude and commitment to excellence are essential.

• Run and manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day service.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard following recipes.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise, train and guide junior kitchen colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Monitor stock levels, support ordering, minimise waste and control costs.

As Chef De Partie, you'll take ownership of a key kitchen section, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and presented to a consistently excellent standard. Working closely with the wider catering team, you'll help create positive dining experiences that support wellbeing, bring people together, and contribute to a welcoming environment where customers and colleagues feel valued and cared for.

What you’ll do as a Chef De Partie

• Run and manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day service
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard, following agreed recipes and presentation guidelines
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service delivery
• Supervise, train and guide junior kitchen colleagues, helping create headroom for people to grow
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety compliance
• Monitor stock levels, support ordering processes, minimise waste and help control food costs

Does this sound like you?

• Experience as a Chef De Partie, or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to take the next step
• A solid understanding of cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen operations
• The ability to remain organised and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements, with a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification preferred
• A positive, team-focused approach and pride in delivering excellent food and service
