Wagner Group GmbH in Mülheim an der Ruhr seeks an Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Hazard Detection Systems to join our Construction division. You will plan, project and construct fire detection, extinguishing and prevention systems in compliance with standards and manufacturer specs.

You bring a technical degree or vocational training (Electrical/Mechanical) and practical CAD experience (AutoCAD, ECSCAD).

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as a technician or master craftsman or equivalent technical/vocational training or an engineering degree.
• Initial professional experience in design and knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D) and ECSCAD desirable.
• Experience in fire detection and gas extinguishing technology desirable.
• Confident handling of MS Office; team player with structured work style and initiative.

Aufgaben

• Plan, project and construct fire detection, extinguishing and fire prevention systems according to standards and manufacturer specs.
• Review execution plans, transfer to WMP and handover to TL for approval.
• Incorporate assembly and service returns according to construction progress.
• Prepare plant documentation and provide required documents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and VdS specifications.

What you can expect from us

• Planning, projecting and construction of fire detection, extinguishing and fire prevention systems according to applicable standards, guidelines and manufacturer specifications
• Review of execution plans, transfer to WMP and handover to TL for approval
• Incorporation of assembly and service returns according to construction progress
• Preparation of the plant documentation
• Provision of the documents and documentation
• Compliance with the relevant standards, regulations and VdS specifications

What characterizes you

• Completed training as a technician (m/f/d), master craftsman (m/f/d) or completed technical vocational training or a completed technical or engineering degree, ideally in the fields of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Initial professional experience in design and knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D) and ECSCAD desirable
• Experience in the field of fire detection and gas extinguishing technology desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office products, ability to work in a team, structured way of working, strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative
