Job summary

TAKKT Group in Stuttgart is seeking a Category Buyer to manage and develop category portfolios across the lifecycle. You will ensure supply continuity, manage costs and risks, and lead negotiations with global suppliers.

The role requires a University degree and at least 5 years in international buying, with strong negotiation skills and experience in ERP and eSourcing tools. A hybrid work model is offered, with 60% office presence.

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international buying/procurement environment.
• Business fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills; experience with should-cost and TCO analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term category sourcing strategies.
• Own cost, risk and innovation management within the category.
• Build and continuously develop a global, competitive supplier base.
• Negotiate contracts and prices using indexes, market data and supplier performance.
• Set up RFQs, tenders and awards; manage scorecards and KPIs.
