TAKKT AG in Stuttgart is seeking a Category Buyer to shape procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships across global categories. You will drive cost, risk and performance improvements while aligning with product management and SCM.

The role offers a hybrid work model with 60% office presence, a modern office, and opportunities to influence sustainability criteria and TCO across the sourcing portfolio.

Formación

• University degree in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an international buying, procurement environment.
• Retail buying or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Fluent with spend and price data and strong procurement experience.
• Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Familiar with finance terms (P&L, ROI) and matrix-structured environments.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills and should-cost/TCO modelling.
• Solid project management background and English fluency; additional languages a plus.
• Confident with ERP systems and eSourcing tools; SRM knowledge is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and implementation of short-, medium- and long-term category sourcing strategies, including single versus multiple sourcing and global versus local sourcing.
• Own cost, risk and innovation management within the relevant category.
• Build, evaluate and continuously develop a global, competitive and resilient supplier base.
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Manager on category strategies and related activities.
• Undertake complex contract and price negotiations.
• Use raw material indexes and supplier performance data in negotiations to mitigate price rises.
• Perform fact-based supplier performance management with scorecards and KPIs.
• Set up and manage RFQs, tenders and award processes.
• Analyze sourcing markets, trends, technologies and geopolitical risks.
• Build ESG / sustainability into sourcing criteria.
• Cooperate with Product Management and SCM as a direct business partner.
