Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking a Cabin Layout Designer to develop cabin layouts for various seat classes, monuments, lavatories, and other cabin areas. You will conduct analyses and contribute to the quotation process, while maintaining layout data in the PACE myCabin tool.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and customer meetings is expected. The role requires a technical qualification in aerospace, strong English, and excellent teamwork and communication skills to interact

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or equivalent training, ideally in the aerospace industry.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
• Strong technical understanding.
• Confident interaction with customers and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Development and creation of cabin layouts for different seat classes, monuments, lavatories and other cabin areas.

YOUR TASKS

• Development and creation of cabin layouts for different seat classes, monuments, lavatories and other cabin areas
• Conducting collision, kinematic, installation and removal analyses as part of the quotation process
• Developing layouts for new seat types, variants and cabin concepts
• Preparing, evaluating and presenting 3D data and analysis results

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical qualification or equivalent training, ideally in the aerospace industry
• Professional experience in technical sales or a technical role within customer projects
• Confident use of communication and information tools, as well as MS Office
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Strong technical understanding
• Very good knowledge of CATIA V5 and Siemens Teamcenter
• Confident and professional interaction with customers and service providers
• Strong comprehension, communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, precise and thorough working style
