The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the business unit, including operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development, and financial performance. Your Responsibilities

• Full operational and P&L responsibility for a large road freight business unit
• Leadership, coaching, and development of approximately 100 employees, including both white-collar and blue-collar teams
• Ensuring efficient day-to-day transport, forwarding, and operational processes
• Driving operational excellence, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction
• Monitoring financial and operational KPIs and implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Developing and executing business strategies to achieve operational and commercial targets
• Building a strong performance-oriented culture while maintaining high employee engagement
• Identifying, developing, and mentoring future leaders within the organization
• Working closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, profitability, and service quality
• Managing resource planning, capacity utilization, and overall site performance
• Supporting business growth through strong customer relationships and operational expertise

Your Profile

• Extensive experience within road freight forwarding, transport, or logistics operations
• Strong operational background gained within a forwarding or transportation environment
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for operational teams
