Job Purpose

Do you want to help make the world a better place by shaping and implementing organization-wide process improvements for the world’s second largest foundation in the midst of a radical transformation to reimagine institutional philanthropy? We are seeking a Solutions Lead to bring rigorous data-driven solutioning to Client’s most critical operational needs in driving greater external impact. The Solutions Lead will report to the Director of Systems Process Design in the office of the Chief Operating Officer. The Solutions Lead will be action-oriented and able to work collaboratively work across a complex organization while being independently driven in delivering results to support the organization’s strategic priorities, mission, and values.

Responsibilities & Experience
  • Solution Design – Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving process and systems inefficiencies to deliver on organizational priorities and improve the experience of internal team members and external partners.
  • Business process improvement and redesign – Create future state process flows design and implementation plans, in alignment with priorities set by leadership, to drive the adoption of new features and functionality across the organization
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Proven ability to aggregate input (qualitative and quantitative), drive to decision, and build consensus across stakeholder groups to lead change and deliver results.
  • Communication – Engage with colleagues in carrying out a constructive and effective dialogue. Responsible for communicating with Client leadership, subject matter experts, and team members to drive forward design work and implementation of change efforts and ensure cross-network coordination across impacted units
  • Flexibility – Highly comfortable operating within ambiguity, taking appropriate calibrated risks, and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Project management – Ensure timely delivery of planned milestones and activities such as planning, organizing, scope management, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives
Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience improving processes, systems, and governance structures
  • A big plus if the candidate has experience with procurement and contracting processes
  • Working for a global organization: Experience working on a global team with a diverse team and sizable non-US presence
