Zusammenfassung

jobr.pro sucht in Regensburg eine/n erfahrene/n Business Operations Manager, der/die Produktionsplanung koordiniert, Materialbeschaffung und Laborausrüstung managt sowie die Logistik vom Hersteller bis zum Kunden überwacht.

Sie arbeiten eng mit einem rund 12-köpfigen Team, Partnern in Europa und globalen Lieferanten zusammen und gestalten Prozesse von Grund auf, um die betriebliche Zuverlässigkeit zu erhöhen.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene Berufsbildung oder akademischer Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaft, Logistik oder Beschaffung.
• Berufs- oder Praxiserfahrung in Betrieb, Logistik, Beschaffung, Supply Chain oder Verwaltung.
• Nachweisliche Koordination von Produktionsplanung und Beschaffung von Materialien/Laborausrüstung.
• Erfahrung in der Logistik von der Fabrik bis zum Kunden, inkl. Transportzeit-Übersicht.
• Deutsch und Englisch fließend – mind. C1 in Wort und Schrift.
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel.
• Ausgeprägte Organisationsfähigkeiten und Priorisierung mehrerer Aufgaben.
• Lösungsorientiert, proaktiv und eigenverantwortlich.
• Begeisterung für Aufbau von Prozessen in einem Early-Stage Umfeld.

Aufgaben

• Sicherstellen, dass Produktionen termingerecht laufen und Materialien pünktlich ankommen.
• Produktionplanung koordinieren und Bestellungen überwachen.
• Logistik steuern und Transport- und Liefertermine von der Fabrik bis zum Kunden überwachen.
• Beschaffung von Produktionsmaterialien und Laborausrüstung managen.
• Schnittstelle zu europäischen Produktionspartnern und globalen Zulieferern.
• Verwaltungsaufgaben unterstützen, inkl. Budgetierung und Basisbuchhaltung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit dem 12-köpfigen Team, dem Management und externen Logistikdienstleistern.
• Prozesse verbessern und die operative Struktur von Grund auf mitaufbauen.

About the Role

We are a growing biotechnology company based in Regensburg, Germany, focused on enhancing the bioavailability and functionality of plant-based ingredients for use in nutraceuticals, food, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. With a lean team of around a dozen people, we develop and produce proprietary ingredient technologies that help brands create more effective, natural products.

We are looking for a hands-on Business Operations Manager to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will sit at the intersection of production coordination, procurement, logistics, and administration — working closely with our internal team, production partners across Europe, and global suppliers. This is a central, high-ownership role that directly supports the company's operational reliability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Ensure productions run on schedule and that materials arrive on time.




• Coordinate production planning and monitor associated orders.




• Oversee logistics and maintain visibility on transports and delivery timelines from factory to customer.




• Manage procurement of production materials and laboratory equipment.




• Serve as the primary interface to European production partners and global suppliers.




• Handle administrative tasks and provide support in financial areas such as budgeting and basic accounting.




• Work directly with our ~12-person internal team, management, and external logistics providers.




• Continuously improve procurement and process workflows and help build operational structure from the ground up.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Completed vocational training or degree in operations, logistics, procurement, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent.




• Relevant hands-on experience in operations, logistics, procurement, supply chain, or administration.




• Demonstrated ability to coordinate production scheduling and manage procurement of production materials and lab equipment.




• Experience managing logistics from factory to customer, including oversight of transportation timelines.




• Fluent German and English — minimum C1 level in both spoken and written communication (this is a dealbreaker requirement).




• Confident, proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel/spreadsheets.




• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent workstreams.




• Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset with a strong bias for action and ownership.




• Enthusiasm for building processes and structures in an early-stage environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ERP or process management systems.




• Background supporting budgeting and accounting processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: €45,000 – €65,000 per year (depending on experience).




• Full-time, permanent position with flexible working hours.




• Hybrid work arrangement with home office options.




• 30 days of vacation.

This role is based in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany (hybrid). Candidates should be willing and able to work on-site regularly.
