Zusammenfassung

Hannover Re, a global reinsurer, is seeking a Business Mathematician Data Modelling and Reporting to join the Finance Global Services, Operations & Reporting team at our Hannover HQ. You will drive planning and reporting evolution, maintain data models, and collaborate closely with Finance to deliver robust IFRS 17 compliant processes.

The role combines data modeling, TM1 administration, and API development using C# / .NET, with a focus on data integrity and automation.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mathematics or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in the insurance industry in IFRS 17 context.
• Experience in an object-oriented programming language and willingness to learn new languages.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with complex data structures.
• Enthusiasm for analyzing complex calculation and data flows.
• Business fluent English and German.

• Collect, validate and implement IFRS 17 requirements.
• Onboard into TM1/IBM Planning Analytics and related processes.
• Enhance planning and reporting data models and data flows.
• Operate, optimize and enhance TM1 models, cubes, dimensions and TurboIntegrator processes.

You can look forward to

• Collect, validate and implement requirements in the context of IFRS 17
• Comprehensive onboarding into our TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics environment as well as the underlying actuarial and financial business processes

Enhance our planning and reporting data models and the associated data flows, including quality assurance and monitoring

• Operate, optimise and enhance TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, TurboIntegrator processes, and rules
• Design and development of APIs, services, and data processing solutions based on C# / .NET

Automate data processing and reporting workflow

Collaborate closely with business functions such as Finance and Controlling

You come equipped with

• Degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in the insurance industry in context of IFRS 17
• Experience in an object-oriented programming language and a willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with complex data structures
• An enthusiasm for analysing complex calculation and data flows
