Hannover Re in Hannover, Germany, is seeking an Underwriter International Mathematics to join our Advanced Solutions team on a permanent basis.

You will start with onboarding, handle placement process from origination to underwriting decisions, review enquiries for structured reinsurance, maintain contracts, and collaborate across units worldwide.

The role offers hybrid work, international travel, and a broad benefits package including pension, training, mobility options, and relocation support.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Business Mathematics, Mathematics or Physics with a strong economic focus.
• Initial practical experience in the insurance or financial services sector, e.g. internships or working student roles.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficient user skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately five to six trips per year).
• A solution-oriented, forward-thinking and responsible approach to work with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
